• Qatar Styropor Factory is considered as the oldest and largest of Thermal Insulation factories in Qatar, as well as distinguished from other competitors by multiplicity of products.
• The idea of the establishment of a polystyrene factory was born at the end of the seventies of the last century as a result of the rapid
construction growth of qatar and specification of thermal insulations in the government and private sector projects in order to conserve
electricity.
• The factory was opened in February 22, 1984 with a daily capacity of 75 m3 and reached now up to 600 m3.
• In 1988 factory added fruits and vegetable boxes, plates, farms seedling trays, fish and ice boxes.
• 1989 has been the year to meet the market requirements of different forms from decoration.
• 1995 factory added Block Insert product to supply it to tabook factories for producing of insulated blocks.
• 2003 factory started supplying the Horde of different sizes and densities to reduce the loads from the buildings.
• In 2009 Polystyrene applications have been developed to use in roads, bridges and landscaping projects in large quantities.
