WATAD GROUP ENTERPRISES ("Watad") is a Qatari-owned local company, registered in the State of Qatar in 2012. Watad is a leading provider of technology and intelligent service solutions, specializing in IT, IoT, Smart City Management, Facilities Management, and other innovative solutions that transcend conventional boundaries. Founded by Darwish Abdullah Darwish, Watad was established to support Qatar's economic growth during the development of Hamad International Airport.

Over the years, Watad has developed a diverse portfolio of products and services in collaboration with various local and international providers. This has positioned Watad as a distinctive expert consultant in client solutions. Our expertise extends beyond innovative developments in Integrated Facilities Management and Modern System Integration in IT to include Cybersecurity, Security Systems, Aviation solutions such as Intelligent Baggage Handling, Security Screening solutions, hardware and software processes, Data Privacy, and Data as a Service.

Having been established in Qatar for over two decades, Watad is now fully owned by Ms. Fatima Darwish AD AL-Darwish, daughter of Darwish Abdullah Darwish D Al Darwish. With a team of highly skilled and well-trained professionals, Watad’s management boasts over 100 years of combined operational experience. The company currently employs a multinational task force.

Watad has successfully completed various projects at Hamad International Airport, including FM009 and FM015, in collaboration with our subsidiary Malaysia Airports, and CP 310 for Managed IT Services. Additionally, Watad has undertaken projects with the Qatar Ministry of Municipal Affairs, the Ministry of Defence, Qatar Rail, and Uum Haloul Power.
