About the Gulf Heart Association



The Gulf Heart Association (GHA) is the leading, non-profit, professional organization dedicated to promoting advanced cardiology care in the region. With the participation of local and international organizations and institutions, GHA is active in organizing scientific cardiology and cardiovascular surgery meetings, workshops, and conferences designed to educate and share scientific information. The GHA was established in January 2002 and its formation was a landmark accomplishment for the members of the GCC States. The organization’s annual conference has established bridges of cooperation among cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, and other cardiovascular specialties in the region and internationally. In addition to conducting scientific conferences and symposia, the main aims of the GHA include creating professional, educational, and social ties among its membership, creating links with international medical institutions and professional societies, and recommending policies and laws to prevent cardiac disease and advance the care of cardiology patients.



Conference Details


More than 30 international eminent experts with distinguished local faculty from the various Gulf and Middle East countries will present the most recent, cutting-edge information on different topics regarding cardiovascular medicine during the 17th Gulf Heart Association Conference.


This activity is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Category 1) as defined by the Ministry of Public Health’s Department of Healthcare Professions - Accreditation Section and is approved for a maximum of 17.00 hours.


The total accreditation for the conference is 17.00 hours, comprising 6.5 hours for the workshops at Itqan Simulation Center and 11.5 hours for the conference at Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel.


There will be no leisure activities or entertainment facilities of the venue accessible during conference days for the attendees.



حول جمعية القلب الخليجية


جمعية القلب الخليجية (GHA) هي منظمة مهنية رائدة غير ربحية، تُعنى بتعزيز الرعاية المتقدمة لأمراض القلب في المنطقة. بمشاركة منظمات ومؤسسات محلية ودولية، تُنظّم GHA اجتماعات وورش عمل ومؤتمرات علمية في مجال أمراض القلب وجراحة القلب والأوعية الدموية، تهدف إلى التثقيف وتبادل المعلومات العلمية. تأسست GHA في يناير 2002، وكان تأسيسها إنجازًا بارزًا لأعضاء دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي. وقد مهد مؤتمرها السنوي جسور التعاون بين أطباء القلب وجراحي القلب والأوعية الدموية، وغيرهم من متخصصي أمراض القلب والأوعية الدموية في المنطقة وعلى الصعيد الدولي. بالإضافة إلى عقد المؤتمرات والندوات العلمية، تشمل الأهداف الرئيسية لـ GHA بناء روابط مهنية وتعليمية واجتماعية بين أعضائها، وبناء روابط مع المؤسسات الطبية والجمعيات المهنية الدولية، والتوصية بسياسات وقوانين للوقاية من أمراض القلب والنهوض برعاية مرضى القلب.



تفاصيل المؤتمر


سيقدم أكثر من 30 خبيرًا دوليًا بارزًا، إلى جانب نخبة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس المحليين من مختلف دول الخليج والشرق الأوسط، أحدث المعلومات والخبرات حول مختلف المواضيع المتعلقة بطب القلب والأوعية الدموية خلال المؤتمر السابع عشر لجمعية القلب الخليجية.


هذا النشاط هو نشاط تعليمي جماعي معتمد (الفئة 1) وفقًا لتعريف إدارة المهن الصحية - قسم الاعتماد بوزارة الصحة العامة، ومعتمد لمدة 17:00 ساعة كحد أقصى.


يبلغ إجمالي ساعات الاعتماد للمؤتمر 17:00 ساعة، منها 6.5 ساعات لورش العمل في مركز إتقان للمحاكاة، و11.5 ساعة للمؤتمر في منتجع ومركز مؤتمرات شيراتون جراند الدوحة.


لن تكون هناك أنشطة ترفيهية أو مرافق ترفيهية متاحة للحضور خلال أيام المؤتمر.
