وزارة التجارة والصناعة تنظم ورشة توعوية لمنتسبي مركز " إحسان" حول حقوق المستهلك

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI), in cooperation with the Center for Empowerment and Care of the Elderly (Ehsan), organized an awareness workshop for the center's members as part of its efforts to promote consumer rights awareness and encourage responsible purchasing practices.

الدوحة في 21 ديسمبر /قنا/ نظمت وزارة التجارة والصناعة، بالتعاون مع مركز تمكين ورعاية كبار السن "إحسان"، ورشة توعوية استهدفت منتسبي المركز، وذلك ضمن جهودها الرامية إلى تعزيز الوعي بحقوق المستهلك ونشر ثقافة الشراء السليم.


وأكدت الوزارة أن تنظيم الورشة جاء في إطار حرصها على تعريف المشاركين بحقوقهم كمستهلكين، وتزويدهم بالمعلومات الأساسية التي تساعدهم على اتخاذ قرارات شراء واعية.


وتضمنت الورشة عرضا لقطاع شؤون المستهلك بالوزارة، إضافة إلى شرح مفصل لحقوق المستهلك الواردة في القانون رقم (8) لسنة 2008 بشأن حماية المستهلك ولائحته التنفيذية، وتوضيح أبرز التزامات المزود، والضوابط المتعلقة بالسلع والخدمات.


وتركزت محاور الورشة، على تعزيز السلوك الاستهلاكي السليم، بما في ذلك كيفية اختيار المنتجات بطريقة مناسبة وآمنة، والتفكير المسبق قبل الشراء، والتعرف على المخاطر المحتملة من خلال فهم المنتجات الخطرة أو الاستخدام غير الصحيح لها، فضلا عن إرشاد المشاركين إلى الطرق الصحيحة للتعامل مع المشكلات التي قد يواجهونها عند شراء السلع أو الاستفادة من الخدمات، وآليات التقدم بالشكاوى إلى الجهات المعنية.


واختتمت الورشة التوعوية، بجولة ميدانية في أحد المجمعات التجارية، تعرف خلالها المشاركون على أساليب الشراء السليمة وطبقوا ما تعلموه خلال الورشة بطريقة عملية.


Doha, December 21 (QNA) - The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI), in cooperation with the Center for Empowerment and Care of the Elderly (Ehsan), organized an awareness workshop for the center's members as part of its efforts to promote consumer rights awareness and encourage responsible purchasing practices.


The ministry stated that the workshop was held as part of its commitment to informing participants of their consumer rights and providing them with essential information to help them make informed purchasing decisions.


The workshop included a presentation by the Ministry's consumer affairs section, along with a detailed explanation of consumer rights outlined in Law No. (8) of 2008 on Consumer Protection and its executive regulations. It also highlighted key obligations of suppliers and regulations governing goods and services.


The workshop focused on promoting sound consumer behavior, including how to select products safely and appropriately, the importance of thoughtful decision-making before purchasing, and identifying potential risks by understanding hazardous products or improper use. Participants were also guided on how to address issues they may encounter when purchasing goods or using services, as well as the mechanisms for filing complaints with the relevant authorities.


The awareness workshop concluded with a field visit to a shopping mall, where participants learned about proper purchasing practices and applied their knowledge in a practical setting. (QNA)
