1. Product Display and Merchandising: Arranging products in an appealing and organized manner on shelves, ensuring that displays are visually attractive and meet company guidelines. Regularly updating and rotating stock to maintain a fresh presentation.
2. Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, placing orders to replenish merchandise, and ensuring that products are adequately stocked to meet customer demand. Conducting regular inventory checks and managing any discrepancies.
3. Sales and Customer Service: Engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending products that meet their requirements. Providing excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues promptly.
4. Sales Promotion: Implementing promotional activities, setting up in-store displays and promotional materials, and assisting in marketing campaigns to boost product visibility and sales.
5. Market Analysis: Gathering and reporting on customer feedback, market trends, and competitor activities to help inform sales strategies and merchandising decisions.
6. Sales Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of sales transactions, preparing sales reports, and providing insights on product performance and customer preferences.
7. Collaboration: Working closely with store management, suppliers, and other team members to ensure smooth operations, effective merchandising, and achievement of sales targets.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in marketing, sales, or related fields is a plus.
• Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or a related role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to organize and display products effectively.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using sales and inventory management software.
