This workshop offers divers an opportunity to discover the maritime history of Al Zubarah, Qatar’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The programme is developed through a collaboration between the Qatar Museums’ Archaeology Department, the UNESCO Doha Office, Alghais Diving Center, and Seashore Group.
Divers registered via the Alghais Diving Center will learn about underwater cultural heritage, archaeological recording techniques, and responsible diving practices. The programme also highlights the connection between heritage preservation and the marine environment, encouraging divers to become ambassadors for protecting natural and cultural heritage.
This workshop will take place at Qatar Museums Tower 2 and Al Zubarah Archaeological Site.

تتيح هذه الورشة للغواصين فرصة استكشاف التاريخ البحري لموقع الزبارة، أول موقع في قطر يُدرج ضمن قائمة اليونسكو للتراث العالمي.
وقد طُوِّر هذا البرنامج بالتعاون بين قسم الآثار في متاحف قطر، ومكتب اليونسكو في الدوحة، ومركز "الغيث" للغوص (Alghais Diving Center)، ومجموعة "سي شور" (Seashore Group).
سيتعرف الغواصون المسجلون عبر مركز "الغيث" للغوص على التراث الثقافي المغمور بالمياه، وتقنيات التوثيق الأثري، وممارسات الغوص المسؤول. كما يسلط البرنامج الضوء على الرابط بين الحفاظ على التراث والبيئة البحرية، ويشجع الغواصين على أن يصبحوا سفراء لحماية التراث الطبيعي والثقافي.
ستُقام هذه الورشة في برج متاحف قطر (2) وفي موقع الزبارة الأثري.
