IT Support Assistant
Full job description
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation and configuration of hardware, software, and networks.
Provide technical support to staff via phone, email, or in-person.
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware/software issues.
Maintain IT inventory and ensure proper documentation of IT assets.
Assist in network maintenance, updates, and security protocols.
Manage system backups, updates, and data recovery processes.
Assist in setting up new user accounts and ensuring systems are secure.
Provide basic training on IT tools and software as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional IT certifications preferred.
Previous experience in IT support or a related field is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of basic IT hardware, software, and networking.
Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
