Mechanical and Electrical Supervisor
We are seeking a Mechanical and Electrical Supervisor to oversee the installation, testing, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems on-site. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in MEP projects and strong leadership skills to manage teams effectively and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical distribution.
Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Manage on-site teams, including contractors and subcontractors, to ensure timely project completion.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve technical issues and implement project plans.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any changes to the original plans.
Provide training and guidance to junior staff and new team members.
Ensure that all necessary equipment and materials are available on-site and manage inventory as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical and electrical systems supervision, preferably in an MEP environment.
Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction sit
