Visit Qatar and EshailSat, the Qatar Satellite Company, have signed an agreement that includes the launch of a dedicated Visit Qatar television channel to promote and increase international visitor demand in Qatar.

الدوحة في 16 أكتوبر /قنا/ وقعت زوروا قطر Visit Qatar اتفاقية مع الشركة القطرية للأقمار الصناعية سهيل سات، تم بموجبها إطلاق قناة تلفزيونية مخصصة لـ Visit Qatar ، تهدف إلى دعم جهود الترويج السياحي لقطر كوجهة سفر عالمية رائدة، وذلك عبر القمر الصناعي سهيل 2 الذي يبث عبر الموقع المداري 26 درجة شرقا.


وتسلط القناة الضوء على دولة قطر كوجهة سفر جاذبة على المستوى العالمي، فيما ستقوم فنادق قطر بإتاحة القناة على شاشات التلفزة في جميع غرف النزلاء، مما يمنح الزوار الفرصة لاستكشاف العروض السياحية ومعالم الجذب التي تزخر بها دولة قطر ومواكبة جميع الفعاليات التي تقام داخل الدولة.


وفي تعليقه على شراكة Visit Qatar مع سهيل سات وإطلاق القناة التلفزيونية، قال المهندس عبدالعزيز علي المولوي، الرئيس التنفيذي لـ Visit Qatar: "لقد أصبحت قطر وجهة سفر رائدة عالميا واستقطبت ملايين الزوار من جميع أنحاء العالم خلال الأعوام الماضية، مضيفا أن إطلاق قناة تلفزيونية للترويج السياحي سوف يظهر مدى التنوع الذي يميز العروض والتجارب السياحية في قطر والترويج لرزنامة الفعاليات الغنية على مدار العام".


من جهته، قال السيد علي بن أحمد الكواري، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة سهيل سات: "يسر سهيل سات أن تدعم قناة Visit Qatar التلفزيونية التي تروج لأفضل الوجهات والمعالم السياحية المنتشرة في جميع أنحاء دولة قطر عبر قمرها الصناعي، مضيفا نؤمن أن خبرة سهيل سات الكبيرة في تقديم خدمات الأقمار الصناعية المتطورة للقطاعين الحكومي والخاص في دولة قطر، بالإضافة إلى أشهر قنوات البث والمؤسسات في جميع أنحاء الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا تجعل من سهيل سات الاختيار الأمثل الذي يتوافق تماما مع تطلعات وأهداف Visit Qatar في تطوير القطاع السياحي ودعمه بالمبادرات الجديدة".

Doha, October 16 (QNA) - Visit Qatar and EshailSat, the Qatar Satellite Company, have signed an agreement that includes the launch of a dedicated Visit Qatar television channel to promote and increase international visitor demand in Qatar.


The channel can be viewed on the Eshail-2 satellite, broadcasted at the 26 East hotspot.

Commenting on Visit Qatars partnership with EshailSat, and the launch of the Visit Qatar TV channel, Chief Executive Officer of Visit Qatar Eng. Abdulaziz Ali Al Mawlawi said, "Qatar is an exciting global travel destination and has been receiving millions of visitors annually from across the globe over the past few years.


This partnership with EshailSat for a dedicated tourism TV channel will showcase the diversity of the countrys tourism offering and promote its robust calendar of events." For his part, EshailSat CEO Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari said, "EshailSat is delighted to power Visit Qatars TV channel and showcase the most attractive travel and tourist destinations across the State of Qatar via its satellite hotspot." Al Kuwari added, "We believe that EshailSats experience in providing advanced satellite services to the public and private sector in State of the Qatar, in addition to the premier broadcasters and enterprises across Middle East and North Africa, aligns perfectly with Visit Qatars objective of enabling development of the tourism sector through new initiatives."
