لشبونة في 12 نوفمبر /قنا/ شاركت دولة قطر في فعاليات قمة الويب لشبونة 2024 التي تعقد في العاصمة البرتغالية لشبونة خلال الفترة من 11 إلى 14 نوفمبر، بمشاركة أكثر من 70 ألفا من رواد التكنولوجيا والمستثمرين وقادة الأعمال من أنحاء العالم.


وترأس وفد دولة قطر سعادة الشيخ جاسم بن منصور بن جبر آل ثاني مدير مكتب الاتصال الحكومي، ورئيس اللجنة الدائمة لاستضافة قمة الويب، بمشاركة عدد من الجهات الحكومية وشبه الحكومية.

وألقى فريق قمة الويب الضوء على تفاصيل مشاركة الوفد القطري وما يتضمنه من جهات ومؤسسات وطنية مشاركة ومتحدثين قطرين من شتى قطاعات الدولة تحقيقا لأهداف المشاركة الفاعلة في استقطاب الاستثمارات للدولة وتعزيز قطاع الأعمال فيها خاصة القطاعات التكنولوجية والذكاء الاصطناعي والبحث والتطوير، مع الإشارة إلى نجاحات النسخة الأولى من قمة الويب في قطر وما حققته من إنجازات نوعية.


وتتمثل مشاركة الشركات القطرية بقمة الويب لشبونة 2024 في تعزيز شراكاتها الدولية واستكشاف الفرص الاستثمارية في السوق العالمية.


وتشهد القمة إعلان وكالة ترويج الاستثمار عن "برنامج ابدأ من قطر" لدعم الشركات الناشئة، حيث ستستفيد هذه الشركات من تمويلات وبرامج لتطوير الابتكارات في قطاعات مثل الألعاب الإلكترونية والتكنولوجيا الصحية.


جدير بالذكر أنه بعد نجاح قمة الويب قطر 2024 والتي استقطبت أكثر من 15 ألف مشارك من 118 دولة، تستعد قطر لاستضافة النسخة المقبلة من القمة في فبراير 2025، والتي يُتوقع أن تكون أكبر من ناحية عدد الشركات والمستثمرين، مما يعزز مكانة قطر كمنصة إقليمية للابتكار وريادة الأعمال.


Lisbon, November 12 (QNA) - The State of Qatar participated in the Web Summit in Lisbon, held from Nov. 11 to 14 in the Portuguese capital, with over 70,000 tech innovators, investors, and business leaders from around the world attending.


The Qatari delegation was headed by Director of the Government Communications Office HE Sheikh Jassim bin Mansour bin Jabor Al-Thani, who is also Chairman of the Permanent Web Summit Organizing Committee, alongside representatives from various governmental and semi-governmental entities.


The Web Summit team highlighted details of the Qatari delegations participation, including the diverse national entities and Qatari speakers from various sectors, aimed at attracting investment to Qatar and strengthening its business sector, particularly in technology, artificial intelligence, and research and development.


The team also noted the achievements of the first edition of the Web Summit in Qatar, which resulted in significant milestones.

Qatari companies at the Web Summit Lisbon 2024 aim to strengthen their international partnerships and explore investment opportunities in the global market.

During the summit, Invest Qatar launched the Startup Qatar program to support startups, providing them with funding and development programs for innovations in sectors such as gaming and healthtech.


Following the success of the Web Summit Qatar 2024, which attracted over 15,000 participants from 118 countries, Qatar is preparing to host the next edition of the summit in February 2025, expected to see an even larger presence of companies and investors, further establishing Qatar as a regional hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
