These efforts include adopting best practices in attracting investment, identifying investment opportunities in target markets, providing support to investors, supporting Qatari exporters, and promoting Qatar's investment environment.

Additionally, it has adopted the electronic issuance of investment approval instead of paper approvals, increased the number of permitted commercial activities for investors.
The MOCI also launched the Exporters Portal, which facilitates the provision of services and the issuance of necessary export certificates. It also allows the issuance of an establishment certificate to support local manufacturing companies and enable them to export their products. The MOCI has also sought to expand exports through complementary partnerships with the UAE, Morocco, Bahrain, and Jordan and has worked to remove barriers to trade with Saudi Arabia.
In the field of competitiveness, the MOCI continued its efforts to establish fair competition. In this regard, the drafting of new legislation to regulate competition in Qatar was completed, including the preparation of a draft law, an executive regulation, and a specialized authority to ensure a balanced investment environment.
