As part of its preparations to host the 50th Annual Meeting of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) next May, the Qatar Financial Markets Authority announces the launch of a comprehensive website for the meeting.

الدوحة في 30 يناير /قنا/ أعلنت " هيئة قطر للأسواق المالية " اليوم، عن إطلاق موقع إلكتروني شامل خاص بالاجتماع السنوي الـ50 للمنظمة الدولية لهيئات الأوراق المالية (الأيسكو)، والذي يعقد للمرة الأولى في قطر، خلال شهر مايو المقبل.


ويهدف الموقع إلى تسهيل مشاركة الجهات التنظيمية والأسواق المالية العالمية في هذا الحدث الدولي المهم.


ويمثل إطلاق الموقع الإلكتروني https://iosco2025qatar.com خطوة أولى على طريق الاستعدادات المكثفة لاستضافة هذا الحدث العالمي، الذي سيضع قطر في بؤرة الاهتمام العالمي بمجال تنظيم الأسواق المالية.


ووفقا للسيد محمد الحداد، رئيس قسم الشبكات والدعم الفني في إدارة نظم المعلومات بهيئة قطر للأسواق المالية، ومنسق الموقع الإلكتروني، فإن إطلاق الموقع يهدف إلى توفير كافة المعلومات المتعلقة بالاجتماع السنوي الـ50 للمنظمة الدولية لهيئات الأوراق المالية (الأيسكو)، بما في ذلك جدول الأعمال، قائمة المتحدثين، وورش العمل والجلسات النقاشية. كما يتيح الموقع آلية تسجيل إلكترونية للحضور والمشاركين، سواء كانوا ممثلين عن الجهات التنظيمية أو متحدثين وخبراء في الأسواق المالية.


ويتضمن الموقع الإلكتروني كذلك أبرز المعلومات المتعلقة بدولة قطر والمواقع السياحية والمعالم الرئيسية، إضافة إلى حجوزات الفنادق ورحلات الطيران.


كما يوفر الموقع المصادر الإعلامية المتعلقة بموضوعات الاجتماع، مع إمكانية التواصل مع فريق الدعم الفني والإداري والقائمين على الموقع الإلكتروني لضمان تجربة سلسة للمشاركين والحضور.


وأكد السيد محمد الحداد أن إطلاق الموقع الإلكتروني يأتي ضمن جهود هيئة قطر للأسواق المالية الرامية إلى تنظيم حدث عالمي بمعايير احترافية، بما يعكس مكانة قطر كمركز اقتصادي ومركز أعمال بارز في المنطقة.


وأضاف أن هذا الموقع سيكون عبارة عن منصة تفاعلية شاملة، وهو يأتي ضمن استمرار جهود الهيئة لتسهيل التواصل مع الجهات التنظيمية والأسواق المالية العالمية، وإتاحة كافة البيانات والمعلومات التي يحتاجها المشاركون في اجتماع (الأيسكو).


وتأتي استضافة الدوحة للاجتماع السنوي الـ50 للمنظمة الدولية لهيئات الأوراق المالية (الأيسكو) في إطار رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030، التي تركز على تعزيز مكانة الدولة كمركز دولي للمال والأعمال، وتعزيزا لأهداف الخطة الاستراتيجية الثالثة للهيئة 2023 -2027، والهادفة إلى الارتقاء بأسواقنا المالية إلى مرتبة الأسواق المتقدمة، بما يدعم نمو وتنوع الاقتصاد الوطني.


Doha, January 30 (QNA) - As part of its preparations to host the 50th Annual Meeting of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) next May, the Qatar Financial Markets Authority announces the launch of a comprehensive website for the meeting.


The website is aimed at facilitating the participation of regulatory bodies and global financial markets in this paramount international event, which is to be held in Qatar for the first time.


The launch of the website https://iosco2025qatar.com is a first step towards the intensive preparations required for hosting this global event, which is expected to position Qatar in the center of global attention in the field of financial markets regulation.


According to Mohammed Al Haddad, Head of the Networks and Technical Support Section at the Information Systems Department at the Qatar Financial Markets Authority and the website coordinator, the launch of the website aims to provide all the information related to the 50th Annual Meeting of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), including the agenda, list of speakers, workshops and discussion sessions. The website also incorporates an electronic registration process for the attendees and participants, whether they are representatives of regulatory bodies, speakers or financial market experts.


The website also includes the most important information related to the State of Qatar, its tourist sites and main landmarks, in addition to information about hotel and flight reservations.


Incorporated within the website as well are media sources related to the agenda of the meeting whilst facilitating communication with the technical and administrative support team in charge of the website to ensure a seamless experience for the participants and attendees.


Mohammed Al Haddad stressed that the launch of the website comes as part of the efforts of the Qatar Financial Markets Authority to organize a global event with professional standards with a view to reflecting Qatar's position as a major economic and business hub in the region.


This website, according to him, will be a comprehensive and interactive platform, and it comes within the Authority's continued efforts to facilitate communication with regulatory bodies and global financial markets, and to provide all the information needed by the participants in the IOSCO meeting.


As such, Doha's hosting of the 50th Annual Meeting of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) comes within the framework of Qatar Vision 2030, which focuses on bolstering the country's position as an international finance and business hub, thus underpinning the objectives of the Authority’s 3rd strategic plan 2023 - 2027, which aims to upgrade our financial markets to be at par with advanced markets in support of the growth and diversification of the national economy.
