الدوحة في 01 فبراير /قنا/ أعلن مطار حمد الدولي عن افتتاح منطقة "الكونكورس E" كجزء من خطة التوسعة الشاملة.


وأوضح مطار حمد الدولي، في بيان اليوم، أنه تم تصميم المنطقة الجديدة لتحسين تجربة السفر من خلال تسهيل عملية الصعود للطائرة وتقليل الاعتماد على البوابات المنفصلة التي تتطلب نقل المسافرين بالحافلات، مع الالتزام بمعايير الشمولية والاستدامة.


وذكر البيان أن منطقة "الكونكورس E" تضيف مساحة تقدر بـ 51 ألف متر مربع لمبنى المطار الحالي، وتشتمل على ثماني بوابات صعود متصلة، مما يمثل زيادة بنسبة 20 بالمئة في العدد الإجمالي للبوابات المعنية، والذي يسهم في توفير عملية سلسلة لصعود الطائرة وتحسين الكفاءة التشغيلية.


وأشار إلى أن من أبرز المزايا و التحسينات في "الكونكورس E"، أنها تعزز راحة المسافرين من خلال بوابات الصعود الذاتي، وتوفير إمكانية مسح بطاقات الصعود تلقائيا للحصول على تجربة سفر أكثر سلاسة.


كما تحتوي على مبادئ تصميم عالمية متكاملة تشتمل على أجهزة سمعية مساعدة للمسافرين وممرات خاصة ومصاعد ومناطق واسعة للجلوس بما يضمن سهولة الحركة للمسافرين من ذوي الإعاقة.


وأضاف البيان أن من بين المزايا، وجود مجموعة من المقاعد التي توفر أنماطا متنوعة من وضعيات الجلوس مجهزة بمنافذ طاقة لتلبية راحة المسافرين، كما توفر مجموعة مختارة من محلات التسوق والضيافة الجديدة التي تلبي تطلعات جميع المسافرين.


كما تتميز المنطقة الجديدة بأنظمة متطورة لتوفير الطاقة وحلول مبتكرة لإدارة المياه والحفاظ على درجات حرارة مثالية، ما يعزز التزام مطار حمد الدولي الثابت بمعايير الاستدامة.


وبهذه المناسبة، قال السيد حمد علي الخاطر الرئيس التنفيذي للعمليات في مطار حمد الدولي، "يسعدنا افتتاح منطقة "الكونكورس E"، والبدء بالعمليات التشغيلية من خلالها، والتي توفر لمسافرينا تجربة سلسة ومريحة، كما تعكس التزامنا الثابت بتوفير مرافق عالمية المستوى تركز على الكفاءة التشغيلية وسهولة الوصول والاستدامة".


وأضاف الخاطر أن هذه التوسعة ستمكن المسافرين من الاستفادة من المزايا التي توفرها المرحلة الأولى منها والتي تهدف إلى تحسين جميع جوانب تجربة السفر عبر المطار..مشيرا إلى أن هذه التوسعة تأتي كبداية ضمن العديد من المشاريع المرتقبة التي تهدف إلى تعزيز الربط الجوي، والقدرة الاستيعابية، وتقديم تجربة سفر سلسة وشاملة عبر مطار حمد الدولي.


Doha, February 01 (QNA) - Hamad International Airport has announced the opening of Concourse E as part of its latest terminal expansion program.


Designed to further elevate the passenger journey, this development prioritises boarding efficiency, reduces reliance on remote gates & buses and incorporates accessibility and sustainability focused design D, the Airport said in a press statement on Saturday.


The expansion adds 51,000 square meters of space to the airport, featuring eight new contact gates representing a 20 percent overall addition that enable faster boarding and improved operational efficiency at the Airport.


Further development with Concourse D expansion to be announced in a few weeks.


According to the statement, Concourse E features 'Advanced Self-Boarding Technology' to enhance passenger convenience with self-boarding gates that scan boarding passes automatically for a smoother travel experience; 'Accessibility-Focused Design' to integrate universal design principles including hearing loops, ramps, elevators, and spacious seating areas to ensure ease of mobility for passengers with disabilities; 'Ergonomic Seating Arrangements', offering a variety of seating styles with built-in power outlets, catering to passenger comfort; 'Expanded Retail and Dining Options' with a selection of new shopping and dining experiences for all passengers; and 'Sustainable Infrastructure' featuring cutting-edge energy-efficient systems, innovative water management solutions, and optimized thermal comfort, the concourse reinforces Hamad International Airport's commitment to sustainability.
