Interior Designer
Role Description
As an Interior Designer with 3D and VR design expertise at Baldo Design, you will be responsible for creating and executing design concepts for a variety of residential and commercial projects. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and translate these into cohesive and aesthetically pleasing designs. Your ability to produce detailed 3D visualizations and VR experiences will be crucial in communicating your ideas effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive interior design concepts that align with client requirements and project goals
Create detailed 3D models and renderings using industry-standard software (e.g., SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit)
Develop immersive VR experiences to help clients visualise design concepts in a realistic, interactive manner
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and adherence to project timelines
Present design proposals, 3D visualisations, and VR experiences to clients, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments
Select materials, furnishings, and finishes that enhance the overall design aesthetic and meet budget constraints
Manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules
Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technology to bring innovative ideas to projects
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
Proven experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing both design and 3D visualisation work, including VR experiences
Proficiency in 3D design software (e.g., SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit) and VR tools (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity)
Excellent understanding of space planning, color theory, and material properties
Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
